This 300zx belongs to Tim from Union. He brought it in to us sometime back for a few upgrades, including T28 turbos, 740cc Nismo injectors, Z1 dual intakes, and a Walbro in tank pump. His car is on a conservative tune on a Nistune board.

This is the dyno chart for the boost controller OFF and on the low boost setting. Boost controller off make 10 psi, and the low setting is 14 psi.

The high boost setting numbers were not posted by the customers request.

Regarding the "waves" at the top end of the chart. It's really quite simple and common with these setups. It's a combination of 2 wastegates and a boost controller having a hard time trying to regulate boost and thus boost varies by 1-1.8psi, hence the "waves".

Unless he did an engine swap and kept the VG intake manifold, thats a VG30dett, the VQ30dett didn't come out till 1994, and wasn't in any US imported cars. If that is a VQ30dett swap, thats pretty cool, but those are kind of low numbers for that engine from what i've read. but its a nice Z32 regardless.

How did I miss that? Thanks for pointing it out. I'll update.

You're right, those numbers are low for where it should be. Sometimes you'll have customers that ask for a conservative tune with richer a/f ratios and less timing, but the majority of the times you'll have customers that will ask for an efficient tune. This is definitely on the really conservative side. The efficiency tune is on high boost where fuel and timing are optimized but the customer wants to keep those numbers to himself. You will be surprised at the % of customers that request not to post their info and we understand. Usually this is the 500whp+ crowd.
