First of all, I'd like to take a moment to welcome you to SCAutos! Hopefully you'll find a cornucopia of information here, along with a place to make friends and communicate with those you already know.

Purpose of this Forum: I wanted to start this forum as a way to connect the different auto enthusiasts who are not only in just the Upstate of South Carolina, but all of South Carolina, and even the surrounding areas. Here you will be able to meet new people, share your interests while learning about the interests of others, and ask questions if you need help.

Rules of the Forum: I'm going to keep the rules pretty simple. There is to be no harassment of members. I know that arguments will erupt from time to time, and even a little trash talking, but please try to keep it civil. If it looks like it might be getting out of hand, the members involved will first be warned. If it continues after that, they will be temporarily banned and then permanently banned if it continues even after that. If any member threatens another member at any time, that member will be instantly permabanned and could result in more serious action outside of the forum depending on the threat.

Also, there is no such thing as a dumb question, unless it was posted intentionally to disrupt order. If it's a simple question, either give them a simple answer or at least point them in the right direction. We all had to start somewhere.

Members are to have one screen name and one screen name only. Bots and spammers will be permabanned and their threads deleted instantly. Pornography or other offensive material is not allowed. Know that this is not a democracy and I reserve the right to revoke service at any time. If you make yourself too big of a pain or are simply a bad influence on the community, you will be dealt with as I see fit. If you are having problems of any sort, please feel free to send me an email or PM, I'll be more than happy to help if I can.

You may display a signature with your posts. Pornography or offensive images are not allowed. The general rule is if you can't post it in a thread, you can't have it as a signature. This same rule goes for avatars. The rules for text/pic size and limit are as follows:
For text: 6 lines of text max. This is measured by standard size text, not text that has had its size changed with BB code.
An acceptable text signature:

For images: No bigger than 600pixels by 200pixels. That means you may have an image that is 600 pixels wide by 200 pixels high. Under 60KB in file size. Nothing offensive.

Vendors/Shops: No vendor or shop is allowed to advertise on the board without contacting me first about sponsorship details. Any ads that are posted by shops or vendors who are not sponsors will be edited/deleted immediately. If such activity continues, it can and will lead to the banning of the responsible party. Sponsors have moderator powers over their own subsections, but ultimately I have the final say in how activity is governed in that section.
