Welp, just like obama, I was let down. This car is a Time attack/road course/ autocross car NOT a drag car. So after I received a call friday from an NHRA official getting all kinds of techincal questions I found out that NHRA now only allows drag cars to run a cage that is 1 5/8's cage, and mine is setup for road racing at 1 1/2 cage. So he was like nope this car wont work, I believe the guy realized he couldnt come up with the money so he bailed. Mainly because my price is still good even if you need to beef up sections of the cage. oh well still for sale....

Weak-sauce... Too bad he isn't local. Or we could go kick him the crotch.

lol, yeah. unless someone has a wrecked LS1 T56 Camaro or GTO sitting around. I would put that in it for the hell of it. BUT i would want the entire car so I wouldnt have to source any parts. I hate sourcing parts now.

I will keep my eyes out for one for ya on the cheap.

Check out this site: http://www.ridesafely.com/ It's an online salvage auction site where they will place a bid for you and such to buy a salvage car. Worth a look at least...

thread update lol.

I painted teh rear bumper and hatch area. Looks pretty amazing, still have flakers all around but a possible buyer this weekend 4/17.... I've found a motor setup if this kid flakes and I'll just finish it and autox the hell out of it. The paint on the rear looks amazing for rattle can. I bet after I sticker it up (since its not a street car) it would look presentable lol.
